Started by Alwyn Crawshaw, this society has members world-wide numbering some 35,000. I am now a Promoter for the SAA and Professional Associate member and have a spot on their web site and in their new Artists Directory. I also advertise my workshops in their magazine "Paint" with some success. My professional indemnity insurance also comes via my "Gold" membership with them. A useful ally in the art world I have found.
Bella Sardinia
Following a connection from the Ken Bromley web site and several email's later, I am now also teaching with John and Maria on the island of Sardinia next October 2007. Their web-based travel business branched into art this year with some success and they are keen to expand this, hence my involvement. Bawdsey Manor
A new workshop partner - this time residential, mainly weekends envisaged. Workshop planned for October 2007 - see current projects their website gives much more information and history about this rather unique location on the North Sea Suffolk/Essex borders.
Peter Wood
Peter contacted me after I signed up for the Breakaway-to-Bearn art holiday. He is setting up a painting holiday venue at his home La Paradou, Aveyron near Estrange in the Lot Gorge of the southern Massif Central of France. A life long art teacher and archery, fishing and writing enthusiast he has some dates on his web site for art holidays in 2007. He has also created some great teaching art DVD's - do look at his web site, they can be obtained from me if you are interested. I hope to use his facilities and the hotels of the area in 2008.

Web gallery run by art supplier Ken Bromley. Art supplies at discounted prices from www.artsupplies.co.uk . I buy much of my paper and pastels for workshops from this company. The web gallery was a new venture started in 2005.
Essex Wildlife Trust
My workshop partner for a number of years now. All fees are split between the Trust and myself. My wife, Jan and I have been members of this worthwhile cause for many years supporting the protection of the countryside of Essex in its wilder form.
Essex County Council Virtual Gallery of Essex Artists
A database maintained by the Essex CC covers many areas of the arts - performance, visual, digital etc.
Essex Gallery
I am the project manager for a group called the Commission for an Essex Gallery. We are a project team, all volunteers, who are spearheading, on behalf of all Essex-based artists, the development of a gallery in Essex for Essex Artists.

Rosemary Humphries
I met Rosemary with her husband at an art fair in Dedham a year or so back and we have been in contact occasionally. They run a small gallery in Felixstow specialising in "the Sea". One day I will get round to taking some of my seascapes to them. Her website is informative and has more links.
